We believe that technology is a tool for learning that expands our instructional repertoire and is the vehicle that maximizes the capacity of all teachers and learners. It is the vision of Buildingbots that students be engaged in a stimulating academic environment and a challenging curriculum that is student-centered and focused on inquiry-based learning. Specifically, we envision that technology is available and effectively supported for all students and staff.
The Program
Robotics education is an outstanding way to introduce
the young scientific mind to the future opportunities
of a high-technology world. Our hands-on approach,
along with lectures, workshops, competitions and
demonstrations is designed to spark the interest
of not only the future scientists and engineers
of our country, but all students alike. Local,
regional and national competitions promote teamwork
and problem solving with groups. Incentives such
as scholarships and internships give encouragement
to students pursuing careers in technology.
