About Us
Advanced Robotic Systems Laboratory was established
in 2007 to provide and facilitate innovative
solutions for intelligent autonomous mobile
robots. ARSL is a research and development laboratory
that works in conjunction with academic and
private organizations to further progress the
development and implementation of intelligent
robust systems.
Members are performing advanced research in
human-computer interaction, cognitive prosthesis,
network-based neural computing, humanoid mechanics,
distributed planning and communication, unmanned
aerial vehicle systems and artificial intelligence.
Our
Approach
ARSL performs scientific research in robotic
and computer technologies. We also work to educate
researchers, technologist and business leaders
about the benefits and applications of these
technologies. Assemble interdisciplinary collaborations
between researchers, product developers and
private corporations. Foster economic development
through the commercialization of these new technologies.
Impact
Statement
ARSL offers innovative solutions for advance
Network-Based Neural Computers, the development
of intelligent self-aware systems; Bipedal gait
generation using genetic algorithms, optimized
by sensory feedback; Advancements in humanoid
mechanics through improved systems of hardware/software
and its integration; Practical solutions for
domestic robotics; Research in developing cognitive
prosthesis; Assisted living and healthcare robotics,
such as cost effective robots to assist the
infirmed and disabled.
